King of the Hill

A very photogenic meerkat (commonly found in South Africa) at the wildlife safari in Animal Kingdom Orlando, Florida. A group of meerkats are called "Mobs" which can have to at least 20-30 meerkats but sometimes they can have up to 50. They are part of the mongoose family and sometimes share a burrow with the yellow mongoose. The reason for him being up so high is because he's the sentry which is a meerkat who alerts the others if danger is near by. The sentry barks until the coast is clear.
